


Directorate Sindh Education Policy Commission (Schools) is a key institution under the School Education and Literacy Department (SELD), tasked with developing, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and facilitating education policies. The Commission ensures an external, neutral perspective on performance and coordinates with allied institutions to align with provincial constitutional obligations following the 18th Amendment. Additionally, it plays a significant role in contributing and coordinating provincial and departmental sub-sector policies in alignment with the MDG and SDG targets.
It was established in 2012 under provocation of MDG Goal-2 'Achieve Universal Primary Education'. As per rules of Business, the Directorate possess the status of an attached department (Allied Institution)
